CENTRAL OTAGO RAILTRAIL JOURNEY

If it’s a team building experience you’re after this is the one for you!

We will fly you into our own airstrip at Oturehua where you have a country style morning tea. The Trail Journeys team will then transfer you to the start of your cycle adventure on the Otago Central Railtrail. Take in all the spectacular scenery the Poolburn Gorge offers, with two Tunnels and a viaduct dominating this part of the ride and with this part of the trail being downhill, it is a easy ride for any level of fitness.

Once through the Gorge it opens up into the Upper Manuherikia Valley and you will cycle to Omakau. A set luncheon will be served at the Omakau Commercial Hotel. After lunch Trail Journey’s will drive you through the picturesque landscape to Alexandra to visit a local winery and sample their wines and relax before being taken to your waiting crew for your journey home.
